I am a fan of all your movies on Newgrounds, but F I S H I N G is my favorite. The background reminds me of old Asian paintings, but you have replaced the typical fisherman and his boat with a cartoon drawing of a monk (?) and his fishing boat. I enjoyed this reference, whether I am the only one who sees it or not.
I like the style quite a bit, and it is a popular style in Asian pop culture. Still, nothing wrong with using it here. The big fish have lovely designs. Their appearance at the end and the small fish's inability to break the rod is endearing. It is very funny... but I feel sorry for the monk. The fish should have been kinder to him (although he did violently end a worm's life).
The music is especially excellent. I personally enjoy this type of music (traditional Asian instruments), though I am aware many people might not be so accepting of it. After all, I did not love it so much when I was a child. Still, it is clever how you combined elements of traditional Asian art with the modern art from Asian pop culture.
I have said this before, and I feel the need to say this again -- not all the Asian/Far East works you see on this site are Japanese. This piece, for example, is CLEARLY Korean. Some (many, even) seem to think make quick assumptions that Asian work here is all Japanese when there is a diversity (mostly Korean, from what I have seen). Please do not make such assumptions for they can be quite offensive.

Well, this story is like a man gone fishing, he fished up a small fish, the fish said "I am a child" . inside this, he thought about it and release him because its only a child. after that, the man continue fishing, but the small fish bring two big fish (maybe his pa and ma, im not sure), u can see certainly is bigger then the man. the man want to live so he say "i'm a child" too, so they can let him go. the small fish take the stick and fold it in half and want to fold it again...well.. lol he dont have enough strengh to do that :P, is kind of embarrassing to him. he just let go and let the man go.
Scipio ur question the white thing on side of guy's head is earring, not his eye, in this animation didnt show the guy's eye
