How do I squint my ears?
No but I did hear the pad, it is spectacular to notice something that you have never seen before even if you have listened to the song about 50 times. However I must ask, because I am one of the people who downloaded it the first time, what is the actual difference? Meow?

Quarl responds:

I made a second bass to layer over the sub. Then I used some distortion to up the aux sub bass's mids so that it would stand out a bit more. The basses volume has been automated to change over time so that the lows are more audible and the highs aren't as over powering. I added a new tamb rhythm to change the sound quality of the aux percussion. I added a few new synth lines to the melodies. Everything else I did to the track is minor like new pitch bends and pan changes.

Also, you squint your ears by slightly closing one or both of them. It's like squinting your eyes duh.

I can see this...

I can see a Bio-robot in a tube, being filtered air and being repaired. And as this is happening, in its mind it knows something is happening to it, it remembers what made it in disrepair. It recalls the struggle in which it lost its comrades, then it flashes to the scientists who built him, and he remembers that he was once human...

Quarl responds:

I feel that way sometimes too.

Very cool.

Definitely DL-worthy. Love the chaotic feel of it.

And.... ear squinting? XD

Quarl responds:

How come everyone thinks I'm crazy when I bring up ear squinting?

Sweet

"FIRE ZEH LAZORZZ!!"

interesting!

its very good! but why was it labeled with drum & bass when its more of a techno style with some piano?

Quarl responds:

uhhh, techno is a four to the floor genre while dnb is typical of it's break beats and bpm. This websites fallen behind but you'll have fun if you check it out: http://techno.org/electronic-music-gu ide/
