Another great track O.O

I didn't really listen to the original, and since I'm a lazy person too (Aren't we all...), I'm not gonna go listen to the original :P, but honestly, this is really good. You have a great chance on winning that contest, I'll give you that ;).

The melodies are amazing, but I suppose you didn't make them, so I can't credit you for them, but I can credit you for the instruments, and they are just awesome and fit so well together. I especially liked the piano parts you did here, they were epic.

The transitions were out of this world, especially the one at 4:56, but I can't expect any less from you when it comes to transitions :D. I liked the reverbed reverse cymbal and the drum rolls too, they were some of the best I've heard in a while. Good job on the structure too, and there were some really great buildups, especially the piano buildups, although I think you introduced some saw synth melodies a little too suddenly, so sometimes you should try and fade them in instead of let them come in so abruptly. Still, the variety here is great and the melodies never got repetitive or boring. Really amazing piano intro, with a nice buildup after, and the ending was great too. Piano endings don't usually come out that good, but this one did, and I enjoyed it.

The drums were excellent, with nice-sounding samples, and I liked how you used that drum hit for the final note of the ending. Still, you should vary your beats a little more when it comes to that kick. The drum beats here are excellently varied and never got boring, but I think using a kick every beat in almost every drum beat you have did get quite annoying. Also, I think the drums were a tad bit too soft, and the synths and piano sort of drowned them out. Other than those two defects, the drums were superb.

Overall, it's another awesome song from you. You definitely worked hard on this and it shows, since the outcome is fantastic. I've got nothing else to say except; GREAT JOB! :D.

Yeah, after thinking for awhile this one will probably go on my favorites now. I almost always save my favorites for heavy metal songs or songs from friends, but this was just too good to pass up.

Before I knew it (honestly) I was basically dancing to this in my seat. That's a great thing because it's hard to find a song that will do that to me, but the bad thing was I'm at work in the office... and I didn't know I was doing it until like 2 minutes later. >.<

Ha, so it's very good. I wish the best of luck in the contest and I hope this wins as I can't see how it wouldn't.

Great! man i love your music..

Where to start? I suppose i should congratulate you on another awesome song. Now, let's get down to analysing shall we?

Amazing intro. Piano and bass blended in amazingly and they then gave in quite perfectly to the next part of the melody which was awesome.

Much improved from the original and the drumbeats were great. Good synth samples and a nice varied interlude at 4:29. The reverbed Reverse Cymbal was also great and the background provided a nice amount of depth to the whole thing.

Some synth melodies were introduced a bit too suddenly but the way they provided a varied non-repetitive melody which never got borring overpowered this i suppose.

Great piano ending. I don't normally like endings which end like that but i really want to congratulate you on this one.

It definetely looks like you put in lot of effort into this and it shows.

Great work.

Another great effort

A lovely piece that certainly sets you up as a prominent soundsmith on Newgrounds. If anything, it does get a little repetitive, but I think that does tend to be the way with techno, as it can drag on with the same recycled sound and throw a few bits and pieces in to try and make it sound different.

Perhaps a few changes here and there could help - the piano is a great instrument, so why try and drown it out with the rest of the track? Bring it forth and make it join in, where it can take the beat to places that other instruments really have not got a hope of reaching.

Perhaps a few additional instruments would help - if you're playing with the same instruments, it's going to sound the same, but if you change the instruments, you change the sound. Try that on for size.
