If u ask me, this sounds like the sort of thing Prefuse 73 would sound like if he were chinese. I like it, maybe stick a nice deep sub-bass line in there somewhere and a fukd up gong resonating sound with mad fx on, perhaps even a sliced-up gong sound? Ah So - -
Thanks for the advice - I just might do something more with it - This actually started out as an attempt at an R&B-ish hip-hop sorta beat - after playing with it a bit I decided that since oriental influence is so prevalent in modern hip-hop culture I'd throw in something decidedly ... well... oriental!
And besides, name me a single brother who doesn't have a fixation on those old-school poorly dubbed chinese fight movies <- maybe a stereotype but true - I love them myself as well so I'm not saying anything bad here... If I've offended any of my black friends then by all means feel free to make a joke about how white people can't dance or something.. :)

thanks. I know the clarity isn't great - Because of the way things are set up here, I have to use headphones - You know how that goes - Anything mastered on headphones almost always sounds really bad on regular speakers..
