pretty good though, i do think the drums get a bit random at parts, but that happens, especialyl to me, when i glitch my drums xD

Noo!!! The last time I used a sliced loop was like the 3rd song I ever made. All made by me lol :D I actually made this song strait after i listened to yours. It starts on the same not as yours, but then it goes a lot different :D. Damn that saw bass, it sounds so awesome but it also kills the ambience, but i suppose the drums also kill the ambience so its kinda not really ambience anyway lol.
yeah that arp is awesome. Its actualy just a lead and then I arpegiated one of the melodies from the piano.

A mix of Ambient and Classical with the piano addition... me likey. The beats and melodies made this audio really swell to listen to. If it had a little more action, suspense, epicness... then I would of added it to my Ipod. For some odd reason, this song is telling me a story. One part would be from the past and one part would be from the future since this song does change here and there. It's pretty sick and I enjoyed hearing this. Nice going Box-Killa! :D

Yeah I love it when I can create a good melody, sometimes in can take weeks to think of one, this time it took 20 mins or so. :D I suppose It needs some continuing on, maybe a key change and a progression change. Pretty Nifty
It's not really a dance track as it is an ambient song. However it is quite the interesting number. I will say that it does make a good dance song to dance to, I could picture people dancing to this in my head. All the beats were nice and I actually thought this flowed quite well. My only complaint is it seems a bit repetitive and needs to be experimented with more.

I like how the drums come into the mix. You're bassline is a little odd. It's an 8 bar progresssion if I'm not mistaken. The third bar is the same as the first, which isn't a bad thing, it just doesn't quite flow as well as the rest. I would experiment with that a tad. The add-ons are really cool, especially that gated pad that comes in before the two minute mark. It should have kept playing when the piano melody came back in. Repetition is a vital part of music, if something only happens once, it feels like a mistake or its out of place. When writing something, pay attention to the symmetry of all parts.

Hmm someone said it was too repeditive but yeah i know, maybe i should have continued it, but then it wouldnt have had the same epic, only once effect.. Ill def review ure song. Oh and i just updated this song so it has lots more alteration.Yeah with the progression if i change anything it wont sound dark, sometimes you have to not play notes to get the right sound. Ambient/dance? I don't know...it really sounds more ambient then dance. I never heard of dance music with a dark toned theme before. But anyway, I like your opening into the track, it gets to the point right away on the title that you gave it, that it's a dark awakening :O I like the melody change at 1:19, as I have a thing with high pitched snyths.
What I dislike about this track is the lack of variation in the background sounds (i.e. the bass, snare drum, that low chord tune, whatever you used). It makes the track lack that much that it starts to get boring the more you listen to it. As I recall, it's just one long repetitive set all the way till the end of the track.

Hmm yes I can see you are very right. It sorta just repeats itself after the intro. I guess it needs work with some more variation. Maybe a bridge and some effects in the middle of the song, to get. Yeah i see what you mean. Yeah i like the thing at 1:19 too :D I think i should have changed the drum beat half way through and added a lot more fills.
