Reviews for "Griswold the Goblin"

Really cool game!

Now THAT'S a good game. Really funny, too! Great graphics and cool world. 60 thumbs up!

Phantasmagor responds:

Wow i love to see people enjoy this game, just one question, how many hands do u have, or thumbs per hand coz gees, that would get kind of annoying having all those thumbs wouldnt it?

at the beginning when it takes you through the controls, the second "GO" button doesn't do anything. im just stuck at the second page explaining how the inventory works. i dunno.

Phantasmagor responds:

Read what the tute says, it tells u to open the menu and save, doing this will unlock it so you can proceed, this was put in to force all the people to actually read the tute before playing, because most wouldnt then they would blam and bitch about things that were explained in the tute

Please respond to my review, to make me feel good.

The first time I played this I picked up the matches and got stuck! Well today I read the tutorial and figured it out. After reading the reviews It sounds like others should too. Man I dont know why everyone has so much trouble with the game, its not that hard is it. Well thank you for this game. You took an hour of my life that I will never get back. I could have been watching porn or something. Nah Im kidding, this was no waste of an hour, this was pretty fun. My favorited part was when It ended. Not to offend you but, it was kinda dull. The cut sceens were great, the mini games were challenging but fun, the animation was great. I just wish this guy could walk faster, but looking at his sad face, I dont think he is in the mood to walk faster. Man, I wish the green guy would fucking cream the shop owner in the sack, fuck!, I saved his poor little ass and he didnt even thank me, he just gave me some garbage, and why does the invisible potion wear off as soon as you take the dragon scale. The whole game was A material and if you could jazz it up a bit it would be perfect, maybe take a comedy course or something cause the funny was too mild. Also email a letter bomb to all the dumbasses who cant read the tutorial and complain about it. very weak. Well thanks alot for reading all this, this has been a very long review by Hour9

Phantasmagor responds:

Damn I wish all these other people were like u, u played again and worked it out and thats what I like to see, and realised that its not actually all that hard if you just use your common sense! I know this game is really dry when it comes to humour though there are a few bits here and there, but were certainly trying to throw heaps more humour into the sequel. Also every one is angry with the walk speed, he will walk faster in the sequel too so you can rest easy knowing that.
Thanks hour9 for the review, your my hero, well not really that was just to make u feel good but anyways, thanks for the review!

where is..

the gate u throw the potion at to open the path to the mountains?

Phantasmagor responds:

Its the big gates one screen up from the guy working at the banana stall and with the oddeties shop. Thanks for playing!

Classic game

Great game, took about 40 minutes although I had to check the guide a little. It wasnt obvious to me that you could interact with things WITHIN the inventory. A point and click movement system may be useful. Other than that the scores speak for themselves. Thouroughly enjoyable!!
