Yeah making him turn iis a good idea. I also think that the loop was a little seemless. you ought have it end repeatedly killing same ppl same way is not all that great. I would rather have a re(start, play) button. as opposed to the whole loop.
Nice beginning
All was good apart from a couple of things you could improve. One would be the blood effects, they're quite easy to improve so there is no problem there.
Also when he goes down the center alley, try and make him turn and then walk down, the effect will be alot better.

Everything was good except for ONE thing. The blood effects were really bad :P the rest was awesome though
