Reviews for "Wyze - Tears of a Child"

eh....

the lyrics were allright but your rap voice and deliverance of ur words.. is shaky... beat sounds good but you have alot to work on

Blasphem-E responds:

indeed

Wow. Simply Wow.

I .... Good Stuff...
10.

Blasphem-E responds:

Thanks

Ehh..

First of all, it's better then i could do. I know that.
But... the lyrics sound too forced to be honestly good. Like you're trying to rush the words into the music. Plus, while the lyrics are good, I can't really hear any emotion in your voice- like you're reading the lyrics off a page while you're singing. It's very mechanical.
My other negative comment, these kinds of raps come off a lot better when you have some experience with the situation, and seeing as the kid is (as I understand it) dead, at the end- you've written more of a story then a history. Not to say that a story isn't good, but all the great songs end up being about the singer and something he's gone/going through.

Blasphem-E responds:

It's difficult to do songs emotionally because you have to go over them enough times until they're memorized. My first couple of takes were more emotional, but had mechanical problems, so it's a hard line to walk

Nice song

You can really feel the strife of the kid in question. Thing is that this is actually quite typical these days especially among high school teenagers. These are actually my favorite kinds of songs. Lyrics kinda remind me of One by Mr Amazing XS but more pessimistic rather than inspirational.

@Codare: It's not about just saying stuff about sex drugs and violence. It's about the issued going on every day that no one chooses to acknowledge so the only way that people can get these issues noticed is through the arts. You really need to listen to the songs rather than just listening to a few words you don't like and judging. Though there are artists (especially in mainstream rap) that are all just about "bragging" about said sex drugs and violence, this is not that kind of music at all.

Blasphem-E responds:

Ya, he seems a little... dumb. :) Thanks for the review

Ugh...

I don't know what happened to this generation, somthing happened that made them all worship this kind of music, for the most part it's all about Sex, Drugs, Gangs, and "Putin' caps in yo azz" and I've always avoided it. I will however say yours isn't the trashy shit that is !@$#ing up the minds younger people.. (I stayed with rock, and got into Techno, Metal, everything but rap and country...&%%$@&%)
Not to say I'm important or anything, or that you should care, but this is the only time I've given a score above 1 to this kind of music.
