Reviews for "Proj Mini"

Simple but Funny

It is a good job.

The interface is simple and the game is simple too.

But I like it because it can really kill time.

Waiting for your next game.

Nice mini game

Simple but fun good smooth graphics. Despite a blocky kind of look, I think its good that way, since I can imagine how it would look if there was so much detail (not as good). I guess you could still try and improve it a bit but that's not too important since Im trying hard to be 'constructive'.

The gameplay is my hard topic. I like the power ups and all that, but they were a bit unoriginal in a way, but its hard to make original kinds. And also it was almost on the verge of being repeitive until I got powerups. Other then that it was fun!

Hm, negatives...well I guess the music looped a bit, and I wouldve liked it if the ship wouldnt stutter when I move and shoot at the same time, but its nice that the ship stays in one spot when I am holding the fire button down.

Wow..I wrote a lot, I guess I like this game. Please don't get mad if you disagree, good luck with the game.
PS: is the fullscreen version a lot different?

dodecagon responds:

Well the good thing is that there are a *lot* of different powerups :) Thanks for your input on the controls and graphics! The fullscreen version plays a lot smoother in my opinion. Cheers.

Help!

I'm a triangle trapped in a square world.

I liked this. Kept me entertained for a bit. Fun gameplay. However, it could use more squares to kill. And maybe some enemies that shoot back. All-in-all though, it was a solid asteroid and RPG mix.

I suppose the graphics could be improved but I'm not sure if it effect the base enjoyment of the game.

dodecagon responds:

Thanks for the input. The number of squares as well as their speed increases over time, hang in there! Enemies shooting back would make it overly difficult, I think! Cheers.

Cool

Maybe it wasn't very original, but i liked it; it was fun to play. The graphics were simple..but that was the point. Sound - add more music- it loops after a while. And maybe add bosses? Anyway, very good, i like it.

Very Good + addictive

I liked it because it was simple and the music was good. The controls were easy to get used too also. It reminded me of a 2D version of Lander.

I would like it even more if you added a little more colour and maby changed the background and made more of a fuss when you went up a level. Sometimes I was too buisy to realise when I had gained a level, or just did not see the little black writing telling me that I had advanced to the next stage.

Look forward to seeing your future work.

dodecagon responds:

In explanation, little emphasis is put on the leveling up because, well, it has little significance. Other than increasing the speed of the enemies marginally and generating more every few levels, it really serves no purpose other than to inform you of your progress. Too much movement sort of diverts your attention from the ship as well ;) Thanks for the input, and cheers!
