there goes th bug that all scorched earth games have.
if you make your power over about 100 you will be able to shoot through walls.

I wanted to make a flash remake of scorched earth myself but, uoy beat me to it. Great job!

I am a big fan of these games but...cannot move is a really ad idea.
Also there are too few weapons and the xxxx'in wind keep changed make too difficult to aim....
But still, keep working..!
Hmmmmmmm...
This was a pretty decent game in of itself. Very very simple, but it plays well and looks pretty nice.
HOWEVER... it so pales in comparison to the original that having the audacity to actually call it "Scorched Earth Flash" is just wrong. None of the weapons, cool fractal explosions, no rubber walls or shields, no AI, and hell you can't even MOVE cept with that lame random teleport item.
Many of us have fond memories of the orignal SE... it was a giant of a game in it's day. If you are going do a flash "remake", it's gonna take a hell of a lot more effort!
In any case, tho, it's a great start so far!
