Bloody Darkness of the Human Heart
A brilliant Illustration of the Song sung by
Billy Holiday (on of my personal Favorites) that brought to shocking and disturbing life the true horrific nature of persecution.
not just of Blacks Which is a somewhat certainly the main theme portrayed by Billy's Haunting voice, but of anything different from the so called "Norm" of which the for mentioned "so called norm" is portrayed as dark and bloodily Disturbing in It's over all hue, the harsh and blood soaked Dark Side to Human nature leaving one with the sense of an inescapability from it (as represented with a crow landing on a corps), yet with a feeling of absolute appall, not just with our own nature but with this film it's self, for how can one find such a work on such a subject beautiful, and the work in this film is indeed Beautiful . illustrating a point of life that ever so few people have the nerve to acknowledge.
that if we find something in life so disturbingly ugly and evil, then why do we watch let alone do nothing to stop it.
this film is proof that great art may be beautiful repulsive and meaningful all at the same time.
