o.o

i actually find this song really jumpy and entertaining!!!!

Its random which i like in a song, but not too random at the same time...

Bomb, I await your submission, I'll definetedly give it some play time and a review.

Thanks for checking out my piece.

How is this NOT hiphop?

It's crazy sounding. I honestly don't even know how to describe what i'm hearing right now. That hornish sounding synth at 53 seconds overpowers the drums hard as fuck. This shit's dope though. I'm sorry i'm not as helpful in critiquing as you. My ears aren't so articulate.

InvisibleObserver responds:

Over powering synth is actually an accordion sound font. This song started as a joke. Don't worry about being able to tell me that the glithy roll at 2:36 is a bit off or w/e, I'm pretty hard a critic on others, I'm harder on myself. Most of the time all that I'm looking for from a review is what, of my song, predominately sticks out to the listener.

The statement "Its crazy sounding. I honestly don't even know how to describe what I'm hearing right now." Is pretty much "Mission Complete" in my books.

Only thing not hiphop about it is lack of lyrics, and abundance of melody changes.

Nothing "hiphop" about this

intro was too random for my part and stabby
the drums need to be sharper with a more noticeable kick(try sidechaining eqing etc)
really enjoyed the break around 0:59 and the banjo along with the bells was satisfying
but its really a rather "boring" song
its seems to move slower than it does and drags along...dont know what makes it do but i think its the lack of a actual flow and more just random stabs of sounds
but the effects worked ok
but the ending was out of place and you need to fix that gap at the end

InvisibleObserver responds:

Baffles me that the ending is 'out of place' when the majority of the song is 'random stabs', then 'drags on', and 'lacks flow'.

Its almost as if the whole thing is consistent in a way that might trick you into thinking it follows a beat. I'm glad you saw through this terrible guise.

Refreshing

I have to say, this is a much needed break from Newgrounds' sea of techno and remixes.

This song immediately shows your talent: utilizing overlooked, underestimated instruments to create an original, addicting, attention-grabbing song. The beats are surprisingly hard-hitting and relaxed at the same time. Each instrument combines together to produce an ear-pleasing medley. Transitions to an instrument's "solo" are smooth, and the actual solos show how powerful the respective instrument can be.

I can't even think of any flaws in this song. This song is perfect the way it is, unlike most works on NG. Great work!

P.S: The whole "weird glitch electronic banjo-hiphop" song can easily be used for any modern/near-futuristic trailers or for any independent media form.

InvisibleObserver responds:

I'm more then pleased you left a review, and in an ever so cliche way, it means a lot to me that you basically noticed this for what I made it to be.

You may need to explain in further detail what you mean by in your PS. :P

YAY!!!!

I've been waiting for this bad boy to get posted, and I can say I'm not the least disappointed.

I simply love everything about this song. The beats are pretty bad ass and punchy, and it definitely has that touch of yours marked all over it. You have such a unique and awesome style my friend, great stuff.

You are probably the most original composer on Newgrounds because of the way you write. I'm sure others would argue, but only because they actually don't know what all goes into this. I know all the work that you put into these songs, and how you use things like the recordings of your friends talking to make many of the samples for your songs. Ingenuity at it's finest.

Great stuff all around in your music and this is no exception.

5/5 and 10/10 overall. This has been favorited!

Yay indeed. I couldn't be happier with the results. :)
