Reviews for "Initial D: Drift Stage"

HELL YEAH!

This was REALLY gripping! Its awesome! My best was 71.7s with the eight-six!

Getting misty..

I'm glad i found this gem again. Played it a few years back when everybody was making crappy puzzle games.
Controls are responsive though i'd really love some more oversteer.
This game could really get to me if just for some fiddling with the coding, a few sfx for the vehicles and some nicer visuals for the tracks and objects, which i wouldn't mind making if the game would be considered rebuilt.
Good drift tracks.
Good variety in cars.
Excellent nostalgia.
Would give it a 10 if i knew a fresh version was coming =)

it sucks!!!

Terrible all the way... some good things about it...
First of all, good idea on diversifying. lots of tracks and cars.
Dont mind the graphics, thats just styling...
physics are neither realistic nor addictive. wheres the drifting? The long tailslide show off exiting the corner? At high speeds the car turns at exactly the same rate as if it where almost at a stand still!!! Shouldnt even been given the name inital D in the first place!!! just because the soundtrack from initial D was put here doesnt even remotely give you the feel of drift!!! ...god!!!
How come you bounce off when you hit the grass!??! wtf??
Good idea in the first place, just no significant results....

Awesome!

I don't know what it is about this game but I am addicted to it, I really like the graphics and the cars. The tracks were good too i just wish there were more of them, a sequal maybe?? that would be awesome...

Not your game

Ive seen this game over 5 years ago and u submitted it before that, this is not your game. And its on the net 2, I already played it on the first website that had it for a while.

authorblues responds:

there is nothing more endearing than for someone to think you stole your own game. you think its good enough that i would really claim this piece of shit if i hadnt made it myself? thats rich! think what you want, but im impressed that you even noticed it for long enough to claim youd seen it elsewhere. im touched. 4 years later, too. time flies.
