Reviews for "What is a flash?"

Very nice....

My two fave locks working together....

Not bad, guys ^_^

8 and 4 for you two, since you obviously put a lot into this. Need I say more? ^_^

JujubeLock responds:

I think you covered it ;)

umm...

You have too much time on your hands. Semantics are stupid to discuss intellectually. I'm giving you a four for the obvious time you put in to this.

JujubeLock responds:

Semantics are one of the few things that can only be spoken about intellectually.

ugh

this is basically a long-winded polemic against anyone who says of a bad flash: "this is not flash!". Its silly and pointless since everyone knows not to take those comments literally (if someone says "you call that a movie?", for example, no one thinks that person is questioning the movie's status as a movie, everyone understands the phrase to mean "that was a shitty movie"). Dont watch, really. There is so much out there more worthy of your mental energy than this.

JujubeLock responds:

I don't see where you find any bit to be polemic, and even though you bring up a good semantic point; this is not always the case. There are many people who believe that a "flash" has to have a certain quality, which is why I brought up Knox as an example. Most people who claim his work is "not a flash" are saying it because they sincerely feel video animations coverted to the flash program are "not flash."

So despite you bringing up a good counterpoint, I have to disagree with a long winded rebuttal. ;)

LoL

Nice work. Enjoyed the random instert of Trevor in there. Lol. PIRATES AND DUCKIES = GREATNESS!

JujubeLock responds:

good luck with CA ;)

Ceci n'est pan une flash.

Graphics: Best use of crappy JPEGs I've ever seen. Vextor aret is your typical so-so Lockery.

Style: Classical music, big words and flowery text all combine to simulate a public television special. Then things gradually get faster and faster and it goes off the rails when communistlock starts heckling. Soon there's almost too much going on at once to read AND laugh. You have to pick one or the other.

Sound: That's some good music. And some crappy, crappy robot voice. Good job.

Violence: none.

Interactivity: Ceci n'est pan une game.

Humor: Moderately funny, in a John Cleese kind of way. I mean, seriously, who likes to listen to some guy prattle on for pages and pages of text on some subject, no matter how insightful or apropriate his comments may or may not be? Hey, wait... isn't that StrageLock...? *BANG!*

This is true, and is the one biggest mistake I made with this flash.
