I didn't recognize this at first because it is metal! But you did a fucking awesome job, it sounds like flogging molly jacked in some metal and started going crazy. Very nice, and I asume by folk metal you mean stuff like Profugus Mortis? Stay Metal \m/
I'm more of an Elvenking-style folk metal lover, but other people might also love Profugus Mortis/Blackguard. Who knows? XD

I never knew that folk and metal could go so well together, until now! This a great piece and certainly an eye-opener for those looking for extraordinary music like myself!

Heh, there are many metal subgenres out there waiting to be discovered. Power, Symphonic, Melodic, Folk, Progressive and more! And to be honest, I didn't know that this track would help people discover those genres, but damn am I glad that it does!
Again, start with "The Winter Wake" if you're gonna go for Elvenking. Recommended. =)

I was browsing the new submissions on the AP front page when I saw this just about to disappear off the bottom. And my God am I glad I caught it.
What can I say, you've defintely blown mine out of the water. This is truely spectacular. The guitar was spot on, the percussion was brilliant and the improvisation was a fantastic touch.
One of the finest pieces of music I've heard on NewGrounds.

My original blog entry (which is now also my most recent News post) says that I discovered The YuYu through your remixes. That's what made me want to remix it myself in the first place.
