U don need Quake 4 graphics to make a good game
though the graphics is pretty lame (it reminds me of trigonometry in my maths txtbook),the style is great for a side scroller

To all those people out there who are complaining
Don't just take into consideration the graphics or the gameplay. The author did mention that the game was a side scrolling shoot em up game. Haven't any of you guys ever played one? Sure, this isn't the BEST side scrolling shooting game of all time, but it surely is great if you would just take into consideration of all the other things in this game.
For instance, the music was fantastic. Every single selection of music that the author used on the game for each stage and bosses fitted quite well with them. That was definitely a great thing about this game.
Another thing to think about is the story line. Have any of you guys thought about looking at the entire thing, the plot of the entire game, and the different characters and names you see in the game? Come on people, the author gives one hell of a good story line to look at, and you should read it yourselves.
One more thing that most people are complaining about is how easy the game is. Now, i'm not sure what the majority of the people who play this have as their connection, but if you're using a slow computer, or a bad connection (like I sort of did), OF COURSE it's going to be easy because the enemies will be so slow, you could hit them before they even launch their attack at you. However, if you used a fast connection, great computer (like I did at my friend's house) I saw the true difficulty that lied in this game, which really got me into trying to beat it.
So the next time you play this game or you play it for the first time, don't just take the obvious into consideration, take a look at EVERYTHING because it's kind of pissing me off how people are giving great games, like this one, a bad vote because of only the negative things that they see. Awesome game, Rhete, and I hope to see more of it.

not really fun...
this is just another game like platypus. Needs more action like ships that actually move up or down. It's way too easy to shoot somthing too.

Too easy to shoot something? Are you serious? Its a shoot em up, of COURSE its supposed to be easy to hit stuff. And if you'd gotten to stage 2, you'd meet the ships that move around (up and down) more
