Reviews for "Overrun II"

Great game but...

you should have a warning that says
"Warning:Objects in rader maybe closer than they appear"
it was a great game nonetheless, if you make overrun three you might win those $250 so keep it up

a nice upgrade for overrun

This is really a very good upgrade for the original game. You expanded the amount of enemies and gave the game a nice array of battleground settings. I can tell a lot of hard work and effort went into this game.
The coding seems very solid. I still can't get thru the game on crazy mode but I have tried the available difficulty settings and I can't find a glitch anywhere.
What really stands out is the opening screen where you have different options to select. You can review the storyline, look over the controls, and view different power-ups, as well as enemies and all at your leisure. The scroll feature for viewing each section is really neat. I would like to see the code for that sometime.
The upgrade store is a great addition. Nothing better than maxing out your battle wagon.
Turrent response on this game seems much improved over the first one. I like the enemy health status bar as well. It lets you know you are on target for far off enemies.
The interactivity sets this apart from most flash games. Overall, its a solid little game that could easily be made a console game. Good luck in the future Denvish. Ta

Denvish responds:

Once again, thanks for the positive review. I think Crazy mode is probably impossible, I never finished the game on that setting =D

I enjoyed this

Well it has been some time since I played the first one. I am glad you got this done. I like the game play. I played easy, and decided to go back and chagne it to hard, because easy was too slow. I guess that it why it is called easy. I like what you did with this compared to the first one. It was a very enjoyable game. Keep up the good work.

Denvish responds:

Hehe. Anything for your review response rate, huh? Yeah, I'm keeping on Flashing, I've moved onto less-drawn-out projects now... I still can't believe that Throw It, which took 3 days, did better than this, which took six months.

Such is life, I suppose. Doesn't stop it being extremely annoying, though...

Round 2

i like dthe First Version of this game alot (you even repsonded to my comment) it plays alot like one of the old school shooters out there.
this is also a vast increse over the last game. the garfics are much better yet oddly enough this doesnt hinder gameplay.the sound is a bit on the lame side but it doesnt kill it.the game is alot like the first one only now it has more powerups and other random goodies. i really enjoyed the first one allthough it was reptitive and i enjoyed this one even more. thanks for brighting my day XD

i really don't care for your taste in music...

but this is a damn good game. good work.
