Reviews for "Gohan Angers (SSJ2) Remake"

Love it

Man, I love that scene, I actually was curious and replayed the scene on mute, and played this song in the back. It worked so much better then the original did personally. I think it felt like it captured the true anger of Gohan much better then the original "harder" version of the song. Very well done. If you ever find the time, would love to hear your take on Goku's Super Saiyan 3 theme. But if you never get around to it, no big deal, just a thought.

anthonyragus responds:

Thanks for the review. I actually have been thinking of doing that. I'm not promising anything, but I think I'll compose a remake of the ssj3 theme next summer.

touching

nice music, it has a rhythm-like flow. Great job, btw where did u get the sound

Thanks for commenting.
Where did I get "the sound?" If by sound you mean instruments, then I purchased them from this website:
soundsonline.com
The virtual instruments come with a wide selection of articulations and reverb.

Woah, how'd you get such a nice sound!

nice choirs, and great harp- i really need a good one^^

anyways beautifully orchestrated piece, the guitars weren't the most realistic sounding and the drums were well done, the tune felt a teeny tiny bit cluttered, but I can't blame you for that. did you have different velocities on the drums?

Really nice once I get into it^^ not really a fan of the constant cymbals near the end,

But I think this song is beautiful and dark, the points above are the ONLY things i tried my hardest to find and criticise,

[Just my thoughts about MillsApparatus, but do you ever see a zero bomber actually review the song?]

Well done
5/5 (obv cause of guy below)
9/10 (cause of small things)

anthonyragus responds:

Thanks for the review. I use Dark Abbey reverb for all of my pieces, which gives instruments a "wider" sound than the standard EastWest Hall reverb. To tell you the truth I regret using a drum kit for some parts of the piece. Certain parts just sound much nicer without it. Also, I kept having to tweak the velocity and volume of the rides and cymbals, which added to the "chaotic" feel. Anyway, thanks again for the criticism.
