hehe I keep forgetting that These mistakes was one of my heavy hitters even though it was one of the first songs that I ever made lol. I have gone back and relistined to it quite a bit and still can't figure out why that's the big one.
thanks for the review man.

Great song!

For an ambient piece, this is very well written indeed. :D
It does get a little bit repetitive at times indeed. But I really don't think that it's a problem at all. It works well for this song. I can certainly see this song being used in an animation. Probably being used in a movie in which a protagonist explores underwater ruins. Your title certainly suggests that.
Great song! And great to know you're not dead. :P

hehe that would be fantastic eh ? hahaha Could you imagine hearing this on the big screen hhaaha

Ambient Aquatics

It's been 15 years since I had that dream, facing my brother in that dogfight. We had both grown up and moved away from each other. As we grew apart, he became more successful, whereas I continued to dream, but, soon, dreams become nothing more than a memory as real life demands my attention. What I didn't know is, real life demanded my attention, but another life...no, more than just one.

Soon, they would all demand attention, one by one, in my sleepless slumber.

That night, I watched something for nostalgia sake, an old cartoon on underwater adventure. As I lay my head down, watching it, I felt an odd feeling. An excitement that felt so familiar that it should be second nature. I couldn't help but smile recklessly like a child as I watched the sea creatures converse with humans who lived in an Atlantean world. As I kept watching, my eyes slowly closed.

When they opened, I was met with a shock. I was no longer in my living room, no, I was underwater. My robe had given way to some underwater suit of peculiar design, and my face...there was no mask. I gasped, realizing I couldn't breath, only to notice that I didn't drown. I was breathing the water and surviving.

I was breathing water....and was still alive...

I touched my face. It felt real enough. I pinched my cheek and wince as I felt the pain. No awakening. Dream or no dream, somehow, I was living, and, deep down inside me, it was thrilling to feel. I saw the wonders of the sea in better detail than any televised show would give. It looked so real, so alive. Schools of fish darted every which way as they avoided dangers everywhere, as larger fish lay in wait for the perfect moment, the slightest slip. I saw corals that housed all variety of creatures within it, starfish, jellyfish, the works. I couldn't help but stare in awe as I floated underwater, slowly sinking to the partially lit floor, taking in the seas glory. It was so awe inspiring that I did not notice the most awe-inspiring creature behind me, floating gently with his tail fin as he crossed his arms with a smile.

"So, you have finally come, Dream-Weaver."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Call it a continuation of what maybe a Tales of the Dream-Weaver. The first dream can be seen all the way back on Flohrensten, however, I can't seem to find the song on Newgrounds again...Anyway, I've always had this idea stuck in the back of my head, and somehow, your music still gives me the push to write a little about them. Hope you like.
¡Excellent!
This song is great!,keep the good work =D!
Great!
This piece was very ambient, and I can see where the repetitive parts were, but it is hard to keep it varied up throughout the ambient genre. I really like the work you have done on this song, especially including the effects you gave the instruments a watery feeling makes it sound great, and I like the industrial-ish sounding samples you used. Great job with the drum beat, it sounds terrific. Also, I like how long this song is, and that it can be looped. If I made animations, I would definitely consider using this in a scene ;) Great job with the intro also, really caught me onto the song. Keep up the amazing work! Glad to see you are still alive :D
