Reviews for "9 circles pt 1 limbo"

Excelent.

I can listen to this over and over again, just like I did when playing Binary.

I just get stuck in limbo, with this song giving it the perfect feeling.

A perfect begining

When I listen to it I get a very sad and almost "hollow" feeling, similier to how Limbo is portrayed. This song alone shows the kind of potential that you have when it comes to conecting a song with any certian theme. I can't wait for the entire series to be finished!

a great job

it gives off a kind of hypnotic depression for gluttony i would suggest a tune that grows with each beat start with something like a heart beat that turns into an entire orchestra then the lst few seconds of the song it turns back into the heartbest

Discovered you through 'binary'.

This piece is incredible. It really helped shaped the tone of 'binary'; on it's own it's deeply meditative and melancholy.

There are very, very few pieces that can really articulate melancholy well -- it's a strange, gray feeling. That's what I imagine Limbo to be -- not a place of deep sadness or despair, but unresolved and unending melancholy, like a sky of dark clouds that never rain.

Love it, I hope you continue the project. I think it has great potential.

thanks man i've already finished pt 2 and im currently tossing ideas around about pt 3 hope u enjoy

Wow man!

You sir are the beez knees. I loved both of your circles. I cant wait for gluttony. I would Imagine that it would be more of a grunge song rather than anything else. Because when you listen to that kind of music it just makes a unsettling feel in your stomach.
Have you ever played Dantes Inferno? Is that where you get some inspiration for these songs. If not you should play the game its for 360 and ps3.

parlormonkey responds:

thanks i get my inspiration from the divine comedy which dantes inferno is very loosley based of. as to gluttony i havent thought how im going to tackle that yet you'll just have to wait and see
