You're getting better at flash, my friend...
The graphics weren't great though, I think they coulda done with some work (shading, coloured lines etc.) Also, you coulda had a 'resume music' button.
Not bad otherwise, keep at it.
Oh, and 'Red Ball' isn't the most imaginative of titles =P

I actually quite liked this, the graphics arent great by any stretch, but overall it is a very playable game, it certainly could be expanded on. I hope it survives if not polish the project a little and resubmit it, it should do better with some minor improvements.

It was a good game overall nice work... just some freaks don't think its worth saving... i do though there is nothing wrong with it the only changes probably are graphics and work on ur music try a new tune or something but overall its fine
Yep, this flash IS good, but there are some weirdos who think, "well it sux cause its called red-ball so im gonna try and ban it" too late. It's saved! WOO!

Although I seem to remember this game submitted sometime last week, or the week before, I've got to seriously applaud the work that's been done on it so far. If of course this is the same one. However, it still has a long way to go if it's goig to stick around on the flash portal. There are still some serious flaws, unless falling through random clouds is part of the... gameplay... Anyway! I hope that you keep working on the game and clean up the graphics a little, I'd like to see the finalised product.

You are half-true. I submitted test versions of the game, to see if it works with all flash players. As it does, and I presume you didnt press down before landing, thanks for reviewing!

I personally think this deserves saving. But it seems it isn't going to be, so here's some feedback:
1) Compress your music. The filesize was way too big. Go to FILE>PUBLISH SETTINGS>FLASH tab, and drop it to 16 or 32 kbps
2) Spend a little more time on graphics - for instance, gradient backgrounds, add some lighting to the ball using radial gradient, etc
3) Find a more showy font, take time to line the text up nicely, and run everything through a spellchecker
Not at all bad as far as platformers go. Keep it up, make it more shiny, and it'll get on NG in the end.
