Reviews for "DXM - Yellow Dot"

cool intro

very wellmade song.

Good:
Orginal, good idea and very uniqe. I like the effects u've used. I also like the title.
Good mastered

Bad:
The drums are a little boring, and the song could use some big climax's

Other:
Ur pretty good man! I like ur style =], and if u are using fl studio, wich vst's are u using?

Helth
5/5

tijnn responds:

Hehe thanks for the kind review, and yeah, well noticed.

I do have a problem with composing climaxes, i'm still in a big learning process, especially with mastering and stuff since i've only been doing Fruity Loops for about 7 months now. ]

Other than that, im using Sytrus, Osc x 3 and Toxic Biohazard as VST's
And some Sample-Based 'VST's' such as directwave.

And well, the drums are quite my style but they don't jump out in this song, you are right.

So relaxing

i was really tired and went on this random song and fell asleep on my keyboard, yeah i really like it keep on making ice music like this

tijnn responds:

Thanks a lot for that comment ;)

I like that, Ice Music

That guys typo down there describes it perfectly, Its chill, its still, and its cool. All corny puns aside, This is a wonderful example of very good ambient music. Nothing is overpowering, and it adds to a mood without being overly relevant.

tijnn responds:

Thanks for the kind review mate!

Wow

This is amazing, gives me a peace of mind feeling almost like Boards of Canada.
Very pleasing to the mind and ears. Thank you for creating such a wonderful song.

tijnn responds:

I'm honored for being compared with BoC...

A very satisfying ambient tune

Overall a great ambient tune to listen. I really like how you slowing add different tunes to the song bit by bit , starting with guitar strums followed by beats and flavoring up with echoing electronic goodness.

tijnn responds:

Hehe thanks a lot, yeah i like the crescendo idea of the song a lot too.
