Kinda epic

The first 140 seconds sounds like the ocean and water. The opening 50 seconds, I picture a scene on a beach, which continues to an underwater scene until the 140 mark. The remainder of the track is a little more emotional than atmospheric, possibly a love scene or ending of a romance. I think the reason why the latter part is more emotional is because you're using a chord progression associated with break up songs. As soon as I heard that part I thought of "Angel Baby" written by Rosie Hamlin. Many other songs from the late 50s and early 60s use the same descending pattern, some examples being "Sunday Kind of Love" and "Earth Angel". I really like how you arranged the back half. However, ending on the G note makes feel interrupted, obviously there would be more of a resolution if you ended on the C. I don't know if you wanted to do that, but it disrupts for flow. Anyway, in conclusion really nice work. I look forward to hearing more, happy music making and thanks for sharing.

Thanks Viper, your critiques are always so insightful and smart. Cheers to you!!

Interesting

Has a cool ambient feel to the back-rhythm, which when combined with the cymbal/hihat give it a really cool mysterious and futuristic feel, the sharp turnaround still has a good use of the hihat, but gets kind of jazzy which would be a good point for scene transition if this was used in flash animation, or in a game I would suggest anyone using it changes the landscape to be more colorful temporarily during the change, all in all it would be very interesting to see how animators will use this unique piece to their advantage, keep it up Gorgorothx.

Legit man!

hella tight man, i dig that beat. Flows hella smooth too
hah the change up in the middle was a little sudden but it sounds pretty good otherwise.
legit beat man keep it up :}

Cebster, you're awesome

Nice!

Smooth start, a bit «Space» but in a different meaning, and there comes the special beatbass. Gives suspenses according to the beat.
And some sweeps on the background adds more of that impression!

Then around the 1:40 mark it speeds a little bit but slows down right after.

Have a nice taste in it, i do agreed that it was also odd to describe but it is enjoyable!

Perfect for some flash movies, madness maybe?
Good work buddy!

Gorgorothx responds:

Thanks, man. I'm hoping a good flash artist comes around and wants to use it ;)
