Nice start
Its a good start, but I noticed that the ball would not bounce off in a different manner when you hit it at a sharp angle. You just set it to reverse :P theres no real game in that, because you'll always know where it will go.

ive been playing pong sice i was three your right i cant beat the one ai but it cant beat me eigther the speed tops out to low make it go faster

the 460 max speed is there, because if it is higher it will move more than 23 pixels everytime, meaning that it will move through the thingy and not bounce back, making you lose, or the first shooter lose:/

been done over and over again but what the hell why not. i think i could beat the tougher AI, that is if the speed didnt max out at 460.

You've got the practical side working, but I'm a little tired of seeing Pong, and that's what it is, not Pinball, Pong, remade over and over again.
See if you can put a little time and effort into your creative drawing abilities, and put your practical skills to some good use on future submissions
