I'm not that good either--or at least I don't like drawing them. Haha! Sometimes I think it helps to start out with simple things like what I did (i.e. some minimalist cathedrals and such with some sand dunes and a moon); I think it's really easy to get bogged down with a ton of detail in the background and then want to stop drawing...
Nice drawing ! I like the effect you did on the moon.Did you use the same pencil for darker and lighter parts?

Yes indeedy. I just got used to applying different pressure. Pressure and angles are very important.
