Actually this comes close to an animation idea I used to have... pity my friend and I can't use that one anymore ;) Would seem like a ripoff...
I liked your animation, but in my eyes you might want to improve on your artwork.
Also I would've found it nicely if you had someone to read out the lines in between with some theatrical manner - that would've helped to point out and thus underline the emotions of the movie - melancholy, desperation, bitterness...

But it still does seem a bit like the original one. i know its a remake... but still... Its a lot the same. you should have added a few more things, more special effects etc... like the play button though, what program did you use for it?

Wow, man, that was good. Good animation and very good story line. That little bit of irony where the guy's wife was the dead cop's sister, that cought me off guard. Good job.
