Reviews for "Generic Boss Loop"

i liked it.

i liked this loop very much, so i used it in my first flash submission here on newgrounds.

Grumbleduke responds:

Er, no you didn't. You haven't made any flash at all.

I love your style.

This is another great song. I don't see it as a boss fight at all. But more of a hero theme or something similar, an act of courage maybe?

This songs reminds me of terranigma for the Snes if you've ever played it.

I would haved loved to have this song longer.

This is excellent music. Great job.

Grumbleduke responds:

I know it's short, and the mp3 encoder I used was poor to say the least. It slowed this song down, and I was limited to 60 seconds (damn free stuff). The tracks of Gravity Beetle onwards used a different encoder, and are better.

very 8-bit-ish, not very boss-ish

If you want a boss theme, a high tempo loops what you need, i agree with the other reviwer though (It should be "a Hero's heart" or somthing along those lines) Keep it up!

Grumbleduke responds:

In the previous review, I responded with something like "the bed encoding messed it up". Right; time to re-release this on the way it was meant to be!

Rocks!

This is AWESOME. I like this better than your final boss loop. Very Castlevania/Mega Man styled. Definitely a great energy and a ice dark feeling to it. I like the crescendo near the end of the loop. Really adds something.

A flash artist might have to crop the end to get that little gap off and make it loop perfectly, but this would really be great for game bosses. I hope people take advantage of it.

Grumbleduke responds:

Have you listened to "Into the Maelstrom" and "Dark Exultation"? They are the same pieces but better made.

This is literally the same as Dark Exultation, but Dark Exultation came out after this. Couldn't you just have renamed this? Equally as good, however.
