Not bad
Good engine, good work on the sprite animation and the different movements, pretty good effort, make a proper game with more levels and other features, but it is still awsome :)

Afraid not. Bass used rapid fire instead. He also had directional fire, but that was far too complicated to implement, the way I was doing things.
