Reviews for "HitTest Tutorial"

Agreeing with LeekClock

Tutorials must be in clear, legible fonts. The viewer is supposed to learn something, so when you use a sketchy font like this it might look cool, but it hampers the tutorial's purpose. I find it really distracting, even in such a short tutorial. The actionscript should definitely be selectable and much more explained. I doubt a novice will have any use for this.

I think it would be better if you carefully discussed the separate parts of the actionscript one by one, so the viewer might actually understand what it means instead of just copy-pasting it. As long as you use few words to make it digestible, but clear.

Another must would be a "back" or "previous" button, aside from the "next" one.

Not great

The design isn't very pretty.

It would be a great help if you used a simple font for the actionscript examples, to make them clearer to read. Also it would help to make them selectable so that one may copy and paste the code.

The music bites, and it wasn't very good quality. We can select a song from our own playlists if we want music during a tutorial, y'know. It wasn't neccessary.

It would have been a useful tutorial if you designed it more like a tutorial, but as it stands it is unneccessarily unclear.

good tutorial

but it got a little boring after a while. try to add sound or something other then text cause after a few minutes you want to click exit. Its a new thing to me and becasue of u i learned something new

It was a good ttorial

It was a good tutorial, and it was worth watching, but
positive:nice and simple, easily tells us whats going on
negative:needs some good techno music, or something everyone likes, and also the style of writing is realy cool, but it isnt very readable.

Cool

Even though I'll never use it, nice to know.
