Just going to tell you that this song was sick. You may be new to Newgrounds, but I can tell that you are not new to music.
Well, I have to say that the intro did throw me off, really sounded like the ridiculous side of bored musicians. However, at 30 seconds, when there were more drums coming in, I could just tell that I was not about to listen to a piece of crap that would make me run to a local pharmacy and buy earplugs. At 1:00 you prove me right, this is a song worth listening to.
The melody work is great, and the prominent bass works very well, which actually surprised me. Normally I hate prominent bass, but you couldn't notice it here unless youre actually carefully listening to the song to critique it. That's what's amazing, the way it just flows as a whole song and not just separate melodies glued together.
Well, since this is a demo, I can't actually grade it properly. There was no climax, and the intro was just too long and un-setting. 1 minute is overkill, especially with that about of diversity from the main part of the song.
Overall, great! 5/5.

You're right, no climax, not much variation, and if this was the only part of the song, it would be boring. Infact, if i never had brung the beginning them back in at all (in the full version) it would seem ridiculous.
I really appreciat the great words of advice and also noticing the really cool parts of the song that others haven't said anything about.

Whoa, I'm really impressed. I was listening to this thinking that I was hearing an NG veteran. The first minute sounds aight as is, but when the whole song comes in around the 1 minute mark the beat is awesome. My only real complaint is that I don't really like the kick sample you use in the very beginning.
