FarCryDX responds:

thanks man. you being one of the top metal artists on ng i can really appreciate a comment like that from ye. much love

Nice, man.

I like the new tone. It's pretty brutal. A little on the bassy side, but that's okay.
I think if you could keep most of the brutality, but leave a little more room for the bass guitar, then it would be an improvement.
However, that's not a huge issue, just a preference thing mostly.
Only real problem I can hear is a distinct lack of cymbals.
They're really quiet, almost unhearable.
Bass, toms and snare are plenty loud, though, so it shouldn't take too much effort to crank up the cymbals a bit.
Honestly, you make me jealous. You seriously need to tell me how you got that sound, because it's awesome.
Keep up the excellent work, amigo.

FarCryDX responds:

Thanks bro. The cymbals are an issue... heres why.

The drums sound clear and crisp because I lowered the room setting to like almost nothing. sadly this also makes the cymbals quieter, so i had to compromise between good drum sound and cymbals being louder. i chose good drum sound :3

Nice

Damn it man, loved this one. The tone was the shit. Definitely beats that weird distorted one you had before, no offense. It still has that bad-ass heaviness but yet it sounds clear; the perfect combo.

Good Things:
-Fuckin' tone blew me away; heavy yet clear.
-Very catchy riff, loved the intro.
-Nice solos.

Bad Things:
-The hi-hat hits at the beginning could've been a bit louder.
-Ambient section that started around 50 seconds was kind of abrupt, and in my eyes, kind of unnecessary as well. Although I did like that weird wind-blowing effect.

Well yeah, great job man, I gotta say again, loved the tone. Keep em' coming, and you should definitely stick with this tone from now on! 5/5, peace.

FarCryDX responds:

Thanks man. I like your reviews because you list the goods and bads, which is what every review should have. The cymbals themselves are a bit meh, to quiet due to difficulties.

I wanted at least 1 ambient section in there because that's just kinda.. how I work. Haha.

HELL TO THE FUCKIN YES

KEEP IT UP BRO
