I dont know that you should grow out of this. the last reviw admits to smoking and still does not get why pot laws are counterprodutive and need to be abolished.

Yea. I still think that your standpoint on weed is that of a 13 year old. I don't really know how old you are but,, you will grow out of it. I am 20 and smoke every now and then to ritually write music. My brother smokes several times a day and most of my friends smoke everyday as well. But I still don't think that it is a harmless drug. And it isn't. Stop sayin that. Look it up fool, and look up stuff other than propaganda and stats. Smoking weed while the brain is still developing IS harmful. If weed was legalized, lets make the age to smoke 20 or 21... when the brain is pretty good to go for it. In the mean time... I am not against weed... I am against you calling it harmless.

This is such a funny movie. The fact that people responded to the message so strongly and in exactly the same manner as portrayed in the movie proves your point even more.
Why is pot illegal?
There are a few arguments for it.
1. It’s bad for you.
Why this isn't as true as they want you to think:
- Research has shown marijuana is far less toxic to all regions of the brain than alcohol and less harsh on your body. Even research that seems to say marijuana is bad for you is misleading. For example this study: "Studies Show Cognitive Impairments Linger in Heavy Marijuana Users" only proves that people cannot learn as well for 24 hours after smoking marijuana. Duh!
2. It supports terrorism.
Why this is a stupid argument:
- If the government were to legalize marijuana, instead of funding terrorism, it could be taxed and fuel the economy. Not only this, industrial hemp products could be used which would cut down on pollution and the use of less renewable natural resources in the paper making process.
3. If we made it legal, everyone would become unproductive potheads.
Why this wouldn't be so:
Actually, when marijuana was legalized in some European countries usage actually went down.
Those are the reasons. Let's even assume, for the sake of argument, that all of them were true. The last time I checked this was a democracy. If I'm not hurting you, you have no right to put me in prison. Smoking marijuana is not a violent crime and harms no one but the user.
Here are the reasons to legalize it:
1) Right now too much of taxpayers dollars are going to prisons filled with non-violent drug offenders. If weed was made legal more of the police force could dedicate it's time going after the real criminals who commit violent acts and steal property.
2) The government would make money! Rather than having billions of untaxed dollars go through illegal channels, they could tax it make money.
Please do your research and get your fact straight before you claim that a harmless pastime is grounds enough to ruin someone’s life by putting them in prison.
