I am so glad that you understand the significance of the high notes! I showed this to my little brother, and he simply said, "Meh...It's kind of good. But not like your other sad songs. You know...it's simple and slow and stuff." I was angry, suffice to say. :P

I really believe that simplicity is crucial to music if utilized properly. If this was faster or had more complicated chords, it would shatter the mood I was trying to convey. Those simple high notes and strings were meant to convey a specific mood and emotion. The texture was thin on purpose. I'm getting away from the review. My bad. xD

I love this song. It indeed tells a story but the one you wrote is the only one worth telling. The music flowed well and my fingers moved across the keys to write. not very many songs do that. You have a gift.

It's amazing how music can inspire stories. I love to turn off the lights, turn on great music and let my imagination run free. In a way, it really makes me feel alive.
