I love the beginning; it has this sorta Pink Floyd thing going on then you go straight into the sorta jazz stuff. I love it! 10/10 & 5/5. How do you write your chord progressions if you don't mind me asking? Do you just play a few chords or do you use other people's progressions?

About the chord progressions:
Studying harmony in a musical academy i'm learning the basics of this, and others (especially classical), genres of music.
I simply follow the rules of "the game" creating pretty simple (and common) structures (this one has a start in D-, a modulation in F+ and a little more) then i play a solo on it. I can't say i use other people progressions but i'm sure that someone made something similar, before me..!
Music is ispired by our personal taste but follows certain rules, if you want to call it in this way.

But this is really good! Everything meshes very smoothly. It's like a high class get together with a live band playing. this is an epic piece.

Its like some song you hear in a bar or someting, or in a movie when somebody just did someting stupid like lost his girlfriend and then his walking in a street slowly and sad... :P Good Job - Keep up the good work!
