Great drawing! The posing and the shading give him plenty of weight, even though the lines are very clean. Same for the muscle under the fur.

(Also, these gloves are great character design, they instantly communicate this guy's pretty much a jock, but also a dweeb-ass-nerd. I know he's not yours but I liked him.)
