Really good start
I think you did a really good job for a start.
Few things to fix.
Fight animation is good, make the world when you walk around look better.
Make it possible to use spells not during a fight, healing during a fight can really waste a turn and end up with you dead.
Have more than one type of music.
Other than that, excellent work.
what happened when the character reached 'exit'?
It would be better if the character didn't
start from the same place on the screen everytime
he left the inn or the training hut or the armory.
And what happened when the character went through
the 'exit' at the bottom of the screen? Did he
wind up in another village with the exact same
configuration as the one he left? I don't get it.
But you seem to have done a good job with
connecting the character to the arrow keys.

It wasn't too great, but I found myself strangly addicted to it for about 20 minutes

If newgrounds had more ppl like u who will spend time on a game instead of tryin to get a game out as quick as they can then we wud c a better newgrounds.
