No doubt it's a good song...

...but it sounds like you copied some pieces from this other song on the Audio Portal called "Eternal" by shortguy014. That's probably why you thought it sounded familiar, because some of the music has (in a sense) already been created (unless by some weird, near impossible, coincidence you made this without even ever listening to that song, in which case, forget everything I just said). Though, never-the-less, the song is more musically developed and well executed than "Eternal".

I knew I had heard it somewhere before, but I forgot where. I know this lowers my respectability, but most of the main synths were loops that I found among my collection; I only made a few of them myself, so that's why.

Thanks for letting me know about the song though. I listened to his version, and no offence to him, but it just sounds like he threw the loops together in 20 seconds. But yeah, I recognised them instantly, so I obviously just ended up with the same loops as him, but I had never heard his song before now, unless I did a long time ago and can't remember. There are probably other songs that use the loops aswell. Thanks again.
