Reviews for "One Winged Angel Gameboy"

The Tightness

I love the Use of the Gameboy bit music and the Full Vocals.
Very nice Jorb

WOW

Only ONE thing that made me rate it a 9: The vocals were just a TAD bit oo loud for my liking, but hey, that's just me. It's amazing how this is made. How did you use those gameboy soudns? Did you make 'em from scratch??

not original....

BUT THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST AUDIO IVE EVER HEARD ON NEWGROUNDS!!!!!!!!!! THE BEST VILLIAN SONG FROM THE BEST VIDEO GAME EVER!!!!!!!!! I WORSHIP YOU!!!!!!!!!! *bowing*

Once again great review for you

I must admit I'm totally shocked. I never thought it was possible to make FFVII's OWA into a Gameboy and have it NOT be absolute crap. You've defied the laws of possibilities as well as Physics and still made it sound great...ever consider trying to make these songs into a game just for a few select people heh heh. I have to ask a major favor...Search up Author Hell-Fire in the regular Flash Portal and watch Sprite Survivor series. On the 7th episode there is a black warrior that will attack a particular silver haired warrior to the boss music of FFVI Decisive battle. In the credits it says it was made by a guy named Black Mages who is no longer on the site. If you could find some way to remake that Decisive Battle into something similar to what he did, I'd be forever in your debt...I LOVE how he did that one!! And you are so far the best person at making music I've come accross on here.

Funny you should mention Hell-Fire, we collaborated in that series! lol

The Black Mages is the music group created by Nobuo Uematsu. They have released two albums, and I highly recommend the second album The Skies Above.

If I meet you, I will give you ALL my money.

Incredible. It sounded so much like an in-game Gameboy tune that I could've sword I was playing Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. However once it got to the vocals, they sort of sounded REALLY out of place, almost like a song version of "Who framed Roger Rabbit?". But then again, I'd probably be complaining more if you didn't have the vocals, they just needed to be tweaked a little more to 'fit in' with the general sound of the tune. But in general, I love it. You should DEFINATELY do more 'Gameboy remixes' of other popular video game tunes.
