Good job with the coding, it's a well made game. Kinda tough, but then again, video poker is tough. Maybe you could add some sound effects or music, which would make this more enjoyable to play. Possibly have some kind of animation for when you win or lose to give it more of an impact. Keep it up.
Nice neat little complex package of poker
Very nicely put together. Sure there are a couple of reports of glitches here and there, but you obviously pointed out you did this to better yourself in the "coding" sence of Flash MX.
of course, I really don't recommend using flash for making these types of games. Your better off making an actual executable.
It's nice to see your interested in this type of thing. I myself am new to flash, although I've made a hand full of games using various C++ parsers. If you would like me to give you some advice on what you should try e-mail (please only the author). I don't want to put it here, as it might seem like advertising, so only e-mail me if you want to.
I do reccomend, that if you redo this system with a diffrent program, use flash to animate cards, dealers hands, ect.
All in all, very good. :)
