Mechwarrior!
Mechwarrior for the win!!! I can actually tell you... The battlemechs... An Anubis(Yes it exists) running through the desert on it's way to report after a scouting mission when it is ambushed by a Cougar, the Anubis jumps jet's into the air and takes cover. It is there that the pilot has to make a decision of whether to run or fight. Then he/she makes the choice and fights.
A fellow mechhead! ^_^
WARNING: MECHHEAD TALK:
But actually I play primarily a Cougar (35 tons of symmetry woohoo!) Which is what I composed this on. Love that little guy, can fit anything in the medium arsenal and down, even a traditional 2 x PPC. (btw House Lio can shove a cork in it. The anubis = firemoth with missiles, blasphemy! Nothing should run 120Kph+ and fire a salvo on the run.)
Thanks for the review!
Episode 2 is near!
Awsome episode!
The epic version sounds just fine, as it kind of reminds me of an old anime feature. It makes a good introduction for a desert corps battle. Let's hear episode two!!
By the way, do you think you could also make an episode of an aircraft battle?
Episode 3 will be the more dynamic one with orchestrated effects. Episode 2 is starting to look like a repair shop ambient.
Thanks for the review. :)
Not Ambience.
An excellent piece, with excellent form. Weakens largely as it goes on, but still an excellent piece. However, it is not really Ambience. More synthesised world music. It has a Morrocan decor, which is very nice, although not utilised to its full potential in my opinion.
Lastly and foremost to reach the Abionic effect of a desert, a slower, more layered piece with less going on but with more power per square decibel would have served you better. This is largely too fast.
The beginning is an excellent example of this. Untill about 11 seconds in, despite being a little to fast, it is heading in exactly the right direction for a desert ambience, slow, fluid, and hazy, and with the solid, but complicating structure of the Morrocan theme building it looks set to get better, but only for that first 11 seconds, this is what needs to be concentrated on.
Still. An excellent piece.
