if you have been a sonic fan for as long as i have, you know that sega is ripping itself off in the audio department. if you listen to the newer games (sonic advance III used tracks from sonic 1 for the genesis) you can blantantly tell that they are using audio tracks from older genesis games, and a few were in alphas that most people have never even seen (sonic crackers otherwise known as sonic 4).
this audio track from sonic adventure, was recycled from Sonic 3D Blast for the sega genesis (saturn version had different bgm) this track was used in the intro, and a stage called "puppet panic"

Hmmm, this sounds more like a converterd midi, and it's not really a trance remix, the original song is trance, theres not much difference between them. Don't get me wrong, I love the Twinkle Park theme. It's one of my favourite songs from Sonic, and I have taken the time to remix it myself but i stick to midi files.
If you want a really good remix of this song there is one at Overclocked Remix, heres the link http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00982/. But none the less a very good attempt.
