When you do get to pound the guy with the bat, you don't get the feeling that you are beating someone up like you do with other games here on newgrounds. Honestly, I had to pop up the menu and select "play" for everything to work. All in all, it's not a bad idea, but you pulled it off poorly. Very, very poorly.
