Reviews for "BashBreaks"

Rave4Yourself is correct... i like a beat i can follow, and not be a pain to listen to.
the cymbal/main scratchy sound is very annoying and gives me a headache.
And before you think i jumped to this, i listened to the whole song, unfortunatly it didn't get much better than the beggining.
1/5

td6d responds:

It's pretty weird you give a whole song a 3 because you don't like one sound in it.
I think your review says more about you than about how my music sounds.

LOL

I feel so weird listening to this song, its like I can't catch the beat.

I'd say thats a bad thing, but since this is considered a genre lol, I guess its all good.

I thought breakcore was alot more glitchy and skippy sounding?

td6d responds:

The 'genre' breakcore doesnt have any rules, thats the great thing about it.
Its most common that the beat cant be followed, you have to listen to the melodies instead and the bass of the 'beat' will hit the right notes once in a while.
Thanks for the review anyway.

Sweet stuff BRRREEAAAAAKKK

Love how you worked off only 4 or so elements, modified them into organized sections with a fluent melody. At first I was like "meh.." Then it totally won me over come 30 seconds +

This is the amen break sliced to the max right? What did you use to do the slicing/sampling?

td6d responds:

First off, thanks for the feedback dude :D
Its indeed the amen break sliced up untill nothing was left.
I used Renoise 1.9 tot slice it up and add the desired effects and tempo's .

The best to you mate.

wow

niiiiiiceee.......... !!!!

td6d responds:

Thanks for your awesome feedback! :D

Impressive start man.

This sounds great. I'm surprised this was your first try, well success, at making breakcore music. Not bad for my taste, had good beats in there, but just that background synth was repeating throughout the entire breakbeat. It would add more flavour to the song if you changed it, but again, this a an attempt, a test.

I'll let it go just cause I like encouraging new artists with lots of potential to show off. I say you should go and make an actual song with your skill, and see how it all goes from there. PM me when you do. I'm gonna check your other song after I finsih with this review. So good job on this, I'm sure you'll do great later on! 9/10 :)

td6d responds:

Thanks man!
I appreciate your comment and cant do nothing more than agree with you.
Im busy making a new Breakcore track and ill inform you if its finished.

Rock on!
