I very much enjoyed this. Somewhat historically accurate, for Samurai really did spend more time drinking than fighting.

it had no plot and i didn't have the least bit of an idea how to play but it's your first submission so i won't be too hard on you and gave you a 2 (besides i don't know how to make games or use buttons and you do and you just joined)

This is the debut entry for Red Penguin, who is quite esteemed in the net. I played the beta version a while ago, and it is amazing how much it has improved!!!
The graphics are really good, as they are hand-drawn.
The soundtrack is perfect for the Kurosawa flick this seems to be parodying.

Ah...O-Saké, although you taste like warm rubbing alchohol, how I love thee. Though it is agony to hold thee in mine mouth for over a second, the warm feeling you give me inside is much like the game I have just played - and lost at.
I vow to continue this game, and best it, but not until I have obtained another vase of that fermented clear rice liquid, heated to tea-like warmth, with which to get the full effect I'm sure our programer intended.
