this reminds me of something
i have a painting of a sad clown wearing a bowtie behind a little boy putting his hand on his shoulder with the little boy turned away looking sad...IT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THIS PAINTING except with a devil not aa clown and they dont look sad....CREEPY!!! oh and i must say it is a very whimsical painting and the bowties do look quite smashing

Well I'll be honest, I dont know a ton about art, especially when it comes to styles and specific terminology, so forgive me. But I can tell you hwo it makes me feel, and thats very, friggn uneasy. Your rendition of Satan is freakishly cool. The Horned detailing and the hair is a nice touch. By my favourite feature are the added, smaller claws you have poking out.
And the boys expression, is priceless. This scenario is so wrong for so many reasons, and you capture it well. :) Another great pic.
