The picture, though wonderfully stylishly drawn, is outdone by your description of Metroid physiology. Very interesting and very well done. It's always welcome to add well-reasoned science to video game monsters.
But I bet you can't explain Xenomorphs. All I've managed to think of to explain their exponential growth from chestburster to adult drone is the fixation of molecules directly from the air, perhaps by bacteria on their skin. Your move, Biologist.

that metroid looks so cool that if it were in my house i would probley blow up. it is so fucking awsome i wish i could touch it but it is just a drawing so i cant. all i can say is you are talented and if i ever saw you i would worship you

If Metroids were real They would look just like this. I'm sure Hiroji Kiyotake would be proud, I'm a metroid fan myself, but I could never pull such a photo realistic picture off. I'm amazed at your skill, but I wish there was a background, the blank white makes it as though there's something missing. But I could understand if you didn't want to take away from the sheer beauty of this majestic creature. It would have been cool though if you had those notes in with the picture. Now all you have to do is turn this into a sculpture. Excellent job.
