This reminds me of my time at a mental hospital. It is very realistic sadly.

Controls:
- WASD / Arrow keys: Left and Right rotate you like a tank. Up and Down move you forwards or backward.
- Press P or TAB to see inventory and options menu.
- Hold right mouse click or F to close eyes. Helpful to identify the name of the rooms and for one puzzle.
- Press left mouse click or E to use/talk.
- Use mouse or number keys 1 and 2 to select choices in dialogue.
Notes:
- Performance is better on Chrome than Firefox.
- Performance is better with fullscreen disabled.
- You cannot look up or down! This is intentional due to web game limits. Mouse lock on the web is bug-prone and unintuitive from my experience in making web FPS games.

I do not agree at all with what you write in the author's notes regarding TheftMachine-3.5. But I will not let this taint my experience in any way: this game was amazing, and I cannot remember playing anything like this. It put me in a mood similar to Sheepolution's Complot, which is a huge compliment as that game impacted me on a physical level. And I guess I now have to play The Consuming Shadow. I hope life got better for you, and I am really glad I decided to follow you. LOVE.
Life is doing better for me, thank you! And thanks for suggesting Complot. I haven't heard of it before today but it's amazing.
For as short as it was, this was a pretty neat game. Felt a lot like The Consuming Shadow stylistically, maybe also some inspiration from Life Eater? I thought there would be a bit more interaction with the other patients, but I still really enjoyed it overall.
I haven't heard of Life Eater, but The Consuming Shadow is definitely the number one inspiration. I talked a bit about it in the Author Notes button on the main menu.
