Elegiac Stanzas

Author Comments

This is the text of the poem "Elegiac Stanzas" by William Wordsworth, set to the song "Storm" by Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and still images made by me. It is a project for my British Lit. class, and any feedback, positive or negative, may be helpful.

Also, be sure to crank the volume up. The music is pretty quiet in the beginning and the end (not to mention that it is just excellent music that should be played loudly).

Also, some information that could be helpful is that Wordsworth wrote this about a painting, by Sir George Beaumont, of Peele Castle in a storm. Wordsworth had lived near the castle for a month some years before. Also, his brother had previously died in a shipwreck.

Wonderful

I remember watching this video awhile ago and loving it. Today, I went searching for it again, and thought I'd never find it when I remembered the poem was by Wordsworth.

I'm so glad I found it, and I could see it again.

Wow

The flash was kind of sucky, but I was paying attention to the poetry too much to even really notice the flash.

That was beautiful

The only reasons I gave it a 9 was the not-so-good art and the low quality music.

beutiful

its so beutiful *sob*sob*sob*Starts to cry heavily* wahhhhhhh!!! lol

Loved the poem.

The flash was a little hard to sit through but the poetry left me enjoying it until the end.
