Absolutely loved this game for both its references and writing. Also, I really liked the detail of the Prosecution becoming more and more... ragged

well cool
Overall pretty good.
In the first case it seems if you can reach the end but if you only have one heart you lose anyway. No clue if this is intentional or a bug, or if it happens in the other cases, but regardless it was frustrating since it happened to me on my first attempt, which caused me to waste all of my guesses on the wrong options on the second attempt, so I had to play the first case 3 times.
I agree with others not liking the shotgun shell question. Even if it's not random it would still possible to reach that question with all 3 hearts on your first attempt and waste them on the wrong options since there are 4 shells. It's just plain frustrating, but unlike something like an invisible block in a platformer that frustrates you the first time but presents a skill check the second time, it's simply annoying every time. I'm not quite sure how it could be changed while remaining on the gambling theme, but it's just not fun.
Anyway, the game is pretty good. The visuals are nice and the dialogue is funny. I think the game suffers from being too short, not just because every good game should be longer, but because of the nature of the game: as you play longer you start to understand the logic behind the comedy, and it's satisfying to figure out the correct option on your first try. Of course, I guess that means the only way to up the difficulty is to make each case longer and crazier which is tough to do.
Definitely hoping for a sequel/expansion; I'd love to see Brimstone care more about keeping that record clean than getting justice for... whoever was the target in the fadeout. Maybe even himself? LOL
Fun little game. I enjoyed the characters and the narrative.
I do not like the second trial's randomness, it felt frustrating to re-try over and over again to attempt a guessing game, while it may have been thematic to the case and the previous answer, it sucked.
Are all the rounds in the gambler live or randomized???
