A while back, I started a pitch bible for a show based off of Ian and Albert, a couple of goofballs that I made ages ago whom you may have seen in some of my other stuff. For part of said bible, I developed a series of animatics that were made for the purposes of developing and demonstrating the over vibe/energy the show would have. Nothing canonical per se, but rather something that would demonstrate how the show would play out. I call them, "Energy Tests," and this is but one of them.

Albert meets with his iconic shy nerd girl GF Annie! Listen, the idea of a total dorkazoid like Albert acting suave and dapper, only to become hormonally overwhelmed by the sight of a beautiful woman dressed as Amy Rose, it's just hilarious, alright?

Anywho, with this one I figured I'd do something that was actually animated rather than an animatic, mainly to show how the show would "move" and what the flow of the animation would be like. In retrospect, it prolly was a lot more effort than necessary, but I'm rather proud of this one. Especially the ending. Hoo boy the ending, a real twist of the ol' expectation innit?

Also yes, that is an AI of Tara Strong's voice I'm using here. I don't think Annie would be voiced by her or anything if the show, well, existed. I just thought she had a nice voice for the short. Also I don't have access to female voice actresses because I'm deathly afraid of women, as we all are.
